Our members present astronomical objects to the public to foster an appreciation of Astronomy. Everything from the moon, planets and stars to galaxies and nebula.
Members have been offering safe solar viewing to the public at Miami Metro Zoo for the last 20 years, though it has offered solar viewing for over 50 years.
The famous “Winter Star Party”. With speakers, dark skies and fun for people from all around the world. Come enjoy astronomy during the winter in a tropical climate.
